Ingredients

Serving size
  • Oyster sauce
    1 tbsp
  • Toasted sesame oil
    1 tbsp
  • Frozen veggies
    1 piece
  • Ribeye steak
    2 wholes
  • Basmati rice
    2 cups
  • Soy Sauce
    2 tbsps
  • Yellow Onion
    1 piece

    Prep

    • Use day-old cooked rice or cook your rice and refrigerate
    • Pat your steak dry and slice into bite-sized cubes
    • (Optional) trim off any excess fat you don't want

    Marinate your steak

    • Get ya hands dirty and mix until the steak is thoroughly coated
    • Refrigerate for at least an hour – the longer, the richer the flavor
    • Add cubed steak to mixing bowl along with hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and toasted sesame oil
    • Mince 3 cloves of garlic and add salt, onion powder, and black pepper to the mixing bowl

    Stir fry

    • Cook down your onion and frozen veggies in a skillet on medium heat
    • Once veggies are cooked and fragrant, remove from skillet
    • Add steak to skillet and cook until your level of doneness
    • Remove steak and add rice with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
    • Stir until brown and crispy
    • Add veggies and a fried egg if you want
    • Mix everything together in the pot and season to taste
    • Top with sesame seeds and chili oil if you'd like
